*150k miles down, 850k to go!!* Comment if you want to see a 4th Gen vs 5th Gen video. If enough people are interested, it'll happen.

For the tailgate issue, you can actually loosen the latch studs on each side of the bed and adjust for better operation (use a star bit). Mine changed over time and was no longer opening with the electronic latches. Adjusted and working great again!

As soon as I notice you have a new video on this truck, I'm on it! Great job reporting on it! Thanks for the great info! Keep those big wheels rollin!

I love your updates! I believe the steering knuckle is supposed to contact the lower control arm to avoid steering too sharply which would cause the CV joints to bind. As the suspension cycles up and down it causes the scraping marks you indicated. Perfectly normal in my opinion and just my 2 cents. Keep up the great work!

Awesome updates and info. I have a 2019 Laramie, dang near stock, added a throttle body spacer early on and a JMS Pedalmax about a year ago - certainly helped with the throttle response. So far 61, 000 miles. I'm quite sure, more gentle miles that what you're doing :)

I have just run over 50k on mine and I've yet to have any issues with it at all.

You’re videos have put me over the edge on pulling the trigger on the limited. I was worried that all that tech would cause some issues in the long run. Glad to see that’s not the case. You’re videos are great.

I appreciate these updates. I have a 18 rebel with 39 thousand miles and I would like to keep it for a long time especially since they are phasing out the 5.7 for the 3.0 inline 6.

Justin, always good to see you again sir. The Ram looks great for 150, 000 miles. Hard to believe that the original brakes pads are still there. A testament to how you drive for sure. Not to say that you baby the truck. But undoubtedly a lot of highway miles without much stop and go I’m assuming. Look forward to seeing that milestone of 200, 000 miles hit and how the truck is still doing. Have a great weekend my friend.

Give this comment a like if you think I’m the ONLY 5th Gen 1500 limited with 150k miles.

This truck looks super solid for a 150k mi truck!

I received my Limited right on the beginning of winter, so it hasn't seen much use yet. It only has 3k mi right now, just from my commute. It's just now starting to have some decent mileage numbers. I imagine that is a combination of me getting used to the gas pedal to keep it on eco mode as long as possible, and the truck itself learning how I drive and optimizing itself.

Definitely looking forward to making some long road trips in spring and summer. This truck is so comfortable that everybody in my family is going to enjoy them!

I love half ton gassers. Very practical, cheap to run, and modern half tons tow everything I need!

I have the same exact truck that you have. 2019 Ram 1500 limited with 3.21 gears. I have about 28k miles currently. I have a ProCharger supercharger on order. It should be here in 2-4 weeks. Let’s just say that I’m incredibly excited.

I have a 5th Gen and the A/C was terrible. Found out about the TSB #24-001-20 and took it in for service because it was still under warranty. It took the dealer nearly a month to fix it because Mopar sent them the parts that still had the defect in them, so they were never removed from inventory. Then they got the right parts in but still had trouble figuring it all out. Eventually they got everything working. That dealer's service department, however, was incompetent at best. The test I used to prove it to the dealer that the TSB needed to be done was using an A/C temp probe and recording the differences in temp between the two center console vents. The driver's side was pushing out air that was 8 to 10 degrees (F) warmer than the passenger side. If I remember correctly it has something to do with the blend door controller and a module basically not mixing the air correctly and not properly sending the right volume of air to the vents based on the user setting, ie all of the air out of the dash vents or dash vents with floor vents. The TSB also replaces some other parts in the heater core as well. Unfortunately, by the time I got it back we really only had one more hot enough day here where I could fully test the A/C in direct sunlight. It was noticeably better. Prior to the A/C TSB the driver's side was blowing out around 52F and the passenger side was about 44F. After the A/C TSB was complete both sides were down to around 42F and the temp was still going down a bit. The truck also seemed to cool down a bit faster as well.

Where the side of the spindle is contacting is normal. Most shops put a Dab of grease there to prevent any noise or chatter at full lock.

An interesting video idea might just be to go hop in New '22 limited and see how it drives compared to yours. We kinda get used to a vehicle degrading over time. Suspension components get soft, brake pedal fades some, seats squeek, parts rattle etc. See how yours is feeling compared to a fresh one.

Also clean yours up before you go and get an updated trade in price. Like I posted above there's another '19 out there with 201k on it for $40k

As always great video and content
