Argentinian Beef prepared in a Steakhouse (Parrilla) in Buenos Aires. Loin steak, rib eye steak, short ribs, skirt steak or sirloin strip - it's your choice. Prepared "Medium rare" (jugoso), if you like it well done order "a punto" - which is the way the Argentinians eat it.

I have been to Buenos Aires three times, and the meat is the best that I have ever eaten. It is worth it to travel to the other end of the world to eat as scrumptiously as I did in Argentina.

In the states most beef is finished off on grain before slaughter and then aged for at least a few days . The beef in Argentina, when I was there was taken right off the grass butchered and eaten immediately .They cut meat differently as well . They cut more with the muscle while we cut across it . I eat medium rare in the states and when i lived in Salta, they didn't ask . We all just had well done and it was great . But the meat is different as well . When I was there I craved a big rare rib eye . And when i was back for a while I craved the grass fed . Even the Barbeques are different and the Argentinians win by a mile .Almost every house has a built in one and they are big .with the best grates i've ever seen . They drain some of the fat off the flames and u rarely see a flair up .I myself liked to eat beef in Argentina simply because they are so proud and careful about it . They do it in a simple precise manner and have done it the same way forever.Their food and ours is very much alike . Meat potatoes salad and bread .The difference is while we are always trying to top the last great food invention, they are the opposite . They are still trying to preserve and perfect the same food in the same way as those before them and their passion and pride always shows .

A friend visited Argentina for 2 weeks. When he left the country, he had eaten a whole cow's worth of meat.

Beautiful. A medium rare steak is perfect to me.
In fact it's a dream of mine to visit Argentina to eat a lot of steaks.

I really miss Buenos Aires sometimes. As for the beef there, it's all incredible, but my favorite will always be bife de chorizo. I could live off of that cut, and pretty much did for 4 months of my life.

to all the idiots complaining about the meat being too red, its not badly made, its a different cooking point (medium rare), just as well done, and no its not going to have bacteria if the meat is good, also, its harder to make a good well done, because you are close to overcooking, yes, i must agree the best meat ive tasted comes from the interior of the country, like santa fe or cordoba, they usually eat the meat at well done point, but they also serve the medium rare if you want, and no, they dont overcook the meat

TL;DR
STOP there is no "the best coocking point" saignant, à point, bien cuit, etc, are all good and taste differently because people have different tastes

Here in Rosario, we make it well done and preserve all the juices inside.. you don't need to undercook it medium rare or rare for it to be juicy...
