I agree, it's fascinating to experience for yourself, this kind of character change, through cultural adaptation. I loved Kyoto, out of all the places that I visited, during 3 months of travel in Japan. Kyoto really felt like a homely place.

When I watch videos on YT, I usually just come across them randomly in my recommended front page and so I don't really follow any schedule or dates that I expect someone to release a new video. Personally I rather see someone put effort and thoughts into their videos than keep pumping out junk that already fills the wastelands of YT, so I think you are fine doing what you are currently doing.
