Video 18 in the Voron 2.4 R2 series! So this is the video I have wanted to do for some time... A Klipper video from start to finish! In this Klipper video, we start with an SD card and end with a Mainsail web GUI that is connected to the MCU and has a "working" printer .cfg. I go over Raspberry Pi Imager, Putty, WinSCP, CMD, Angry IP Scanner, and Notepad++. No cuts in this video other than during the SD card writing. I show you where to look on your devices to confirm things are working correctly and talk about the whole process (The way I do it).

*Pardon when I say SSL and not SSH*

Thank You so much, I was banging my head against the wall as to why my mcu was not communicating before, it was because I was using Ldo Revision c and not a, the LDO docs sent me to a revision c. This way is the easiest I have tried by far. now to program the clicky probe 😀

Now have installed all that was taught in this video. One item I had to find was how to copy a file in putty. Now I know to highlight and left click to copy. Thanks again for an excellent and detailed guide!!!

Another great video Kermit. This is going to be my go to video on my next Voron build. You did a wonderful job of explaining how and why. You are a great asset to the community. I currently have my home on Smartthings but need to migrate over to another platform. I would be interested in a Home assistant video. Keep up the great work sir!

if someone else has the problem that putty refuses connection it helps to run it as admin. Windows seems not to trust it.

The nice thing about raw view is that you can just press ctl-A to select all text, instead of having to scroll from top to bottom while holding shift to select just the raw text.

If you do format the drive that popped up after writing with Raspberry Pi Imager, you have to start over. You basically wiped the thing just written to the SD card by the tool.

This was one of the scariest parts for me. I can work with mechanical stuff. But no experience with a raspberry pi gave this part a steep learning curve. Took me 4 days. Most of it was trying to find my IP address, learning to use command prompt and putty. Figuring how to connect via ethernet cable.
Microtecture might catch on and replace microcontroller architecture. If it does, you get credit for creating the new word. ha.
Made it through.
Hey, when the raspberry pi is using wifi. Is it connecting to the wifi or talking directly with my laptop through wifi? Because my printer is too far from my local wifi.
I might need to use a cable to connect my laptop to it.
