As a very visual learner, you demonstrating for a few minutes is worth an hour of reading the manuals. Thanks!

This is BY FAR, the best instructional video I've EVER seen. Thank you for not telling us your life story before getting to the heart of the video. Also, thank you for being so clear and concise in your BASIC instructions. I was ready to donate my Instant pot to Salvation Army before I saw this video. BTW I have the older model so thanks for mentioning the differences between the old and newer models. You mentioned every important detail on both which was awesome... THANKS AGAIN FOR A GREAT VIDEO!

Thank you so much for this. I knew a lot of what you went over but not all Of it. My wife was the instant pot user in our house, but she recently passed away. I’m trying to learn all of her gadgets. Thank you again!

Growing up in the 60's & 70's, we had an old pressure cooker. My mom would always yell, "Everybody, stand back!" So, I've been a little traumatized by them. Thanks for relieving my fears! I'm a visual learner so your clear demonstration is very much appreciated!

You deserve all those views. I’ve had this plastic and steel contraption taking up space on my counter since last Christmas, with its accessories, and silicone thingamajigs, and recipe books, and I was always thinking I really should take a day off to study how it works, and how to prevent explosions, when all I really needed was a bag of frozen veggies. I’m going to try it now, wish me luck. 😅

Such a great tutorial! I've had my instant pot for two years and I have not used it! Lol I was afraid to use it but hearing you say "you are safe" made me feel like it's okay to use my instant pot 😄 thank you!😊

I have had my instant pot for nearly a year. Never used it as it seemed so intimidating. Thanks to finding this channel and them making it so easy to learn I was able to make my first pot roast in it. Thank you so much, really appreciate this.

Thanks for this video! My pot has been in the cabinet for months because a friend recommended it, but I wasn’t sure how all the different parts worked, but after watching your video I feel like I’m up for the challenge will now use my instant pot!

This helped me so much! I had an Instant Pot that scared me! Right out of the box (after procrastinating) I gave it to my little sister because without detailed instructions, I had tried it three different times and I got two different burn notices and honestly the pressure sealing and venting scared me but watching you guys I’m going to buy another one so thank you very much!!!

I was just given an almost (used once) brand new duo. Unfortunately the lady lost the instructions to the using the instant pot! Your video was exactly what I needed. Thank you so much for the step by step visual. I have subscribed to your channel and look forward to your recipes. I am hoping to use my instant pot to cook rice and oatmeal to start. I am sure it will become my go to appliance. I am very comfortable with pressure cookers because o pressure can some of my vegetables and meat sauce. ❤️🙌

After fidgeting with this thing for an hour, I had to search for help! It's been sitting, but I had nothing but time, so I pulled it out today for the first time! It was a gift from a friend. Your video helped tremendously, so I wanted to thank you for posting!!!

I just want to say thank you. I got my mom the instant pot months ago and she got intimidated to use it. She never told me until now and your video just saved the day. We’re making beef stew with spicy sausage now. Thank you 🙏

Thank you. I had confusion with the floating valve. I got Lux as my b’day present from my cousin & the valve was different than DUO. However your video clarifies that. Thank you so much for useful information.

This is a good introduction. I've been using Presto pressure cookers for 50 years and just started using the Instant Pot. When used the way you instruct here you have a safe fast pressure cooker at your finger tips. And there's more..., with the saute and yoghurt buttons, just to name a few...., I think one thing that makes sense is that when starting out just using the "pressure cook" button and then selecting a "Hi/Lo" pressure and a time (as you suggest here)..., that you take notes on what settings you choose for each item cooked - experiment and keep notes. It's food science 101..., Alton Brown is my brother, so that's my
