My tip for kidnapping a villager is to make sure that their village has no beds left, wait until night, and then start leading a villager by placing and then removing a bed. They will follow it because they are to be assigned to the bed and they want to sleep at night. Then you can put the bed where you want them to be around

Apparently bamboo acts like a fence, they can't willingly walk through the gaps unless you push them through it's not as effective if you have a huge abundance of animals but it's nice if you want like a more natural look to your builds
