8:16 These "stairs" might be absolutely ridiculous to you. But for me, a person in a wheelchair, that's not a staircase. Its a ramp. I actually find this quite cool. Makes me feel like I can even build my base like my actual home is.
Maybe the combination of blocks required to make the one you showed is a bit weird, but I bet you can decorate the sides or something to make it prettier. And the snow ramp is really nice.

Also yes, actual, wheelchair friendly ramps have to be this long so the incline to be managable by the person in the wheelchair.

I will beg to differ on flying machines. These have 2 valid purposes, TNT insta dupe for mining out a cavity for an aesthetic or factory farm.
