I was born and raised in Nelson, Lancashire. I remember the winter of 1963. The snow and ice hung around for about 10 weeks. The Beatles first gig outside Liverpool was at the Imperial Ballroom in Nelson. I remember the assasination of John F Kennedy on the news. Cobbled streets, the rain. This is a brilliant version of this song and yes it brought me to tears. Best of all it involved people from Australia where I now live. They looked to be having a great time. My music teacher at Nelson Grammar School once said, "Anyone who listens to pop music is a moron. Thankfully, I am still a moron.

For those of us that were in our teens and early 20’s when this was first released, 1985/6, I defy anyone to find a song that is more evocative of that time. I have immediate goosebumps and tears of happiness! Pure joy 👌🏻
And what’s so bloody amazing about this video is that you can see that joy in each and Every one of these peoples faces 😊
This has just made my entire year 👍🏻
