Demon's Souls - Official 4K PS5 Announcement Trailer

From JAPAN Studio and Bluepoint Games comes a remake of the PlayStation classic, Demon's Souls. This remake invites players to experience the original brutal challenge, completely rebuilt from the ground up and masterfully enhanced with a new “Fractured Mode." In addition to beautiful shadow effects and ray tracing, players can choose between two graphics modes while playing: one focused on fidelity, and one focused on frame rate. Coming to PlayStation 5.

Demon's Souls was my first PS3 game, but I found it too difficult and gave up early. Years later, I can hardly stomach playing games that aren't Soulsborne. They just lack the care and quality that this series (almost) always showcases. Demon's Souls is going to be my first PS5 game.

Weird story about this game for me. I actually picked it up used when it was so old it had the red lining on the box. Brought it home, played it and absolutely loved it to bits but I had never heard of it before then. Next thing you know, Dark Souls gets made, becomes a cult classic and I’m sitting here trying to explain the greatness of its predecessor. This game definitely needed a resurgence because though it’s the first in the line for souls games, the feel is just totally different
