another way of writing:
Dear sir or madam,
I am writing to present an insurance claim for my luggage that has been lost while traveling on holiday last week.
The luggage is middle size blue suit case. That has a wheel at the bottom. Known also that I have took out luggage insurance before traveling from your company.
The luggage could be lost while transiting through, transit airport or maybe the airline has putted in a wrong flight.
I have contacted the airline luggage claim office about my lost luggage, but after 2 days of searching they informed me that they could not find it.
That will be kind from you if I can get reimbursed the total value of my luggage as per insurance contract.
I can describe all the items inside the suit case with corresponded value.
I have joint to this email, my flight ticket and a copy of my luggage insurance.
Please let me know if you need more information.

Can we use the following as well? " Moreover, I am not sure how the baggage was lost, I imagine the airline might have misplaced on a different carrier. In fact, I have been following up with the airline but no success in the whereabouts. Prior to my journey, I had purchased travel insurance with your company, and as per the insurance policy, I have full coverage including lost baggage.
