Let me explain my situation in more detail. I have recently been promoted to the position of assistant director at my work. In all sincerity, I quite enjoy this new opportunity as it comes with bundle of tidings yet, it is very tasking as the director is seldom available. I have to take the role of the director while he Is away which translates to, thinking more like him and also making positive decisions not to mention the unscheduled travels, calls and meetings I have to take for the company.

Informal letter: a letter to a person you know very closely.
formal letter: a letter to a person whom you've never met and do not know them personally
semi-formal: a letter to a person whom you know but not closely.

Dear Jay,

Although I've been struggling to get 8 in each section of Ielts, I recon, your videos will help me a lot.
