Here is a pretty decent quality and complete recording of Elton and Ray's performance in Los Angeles on October 6th 1979. This is the final of almost 10 consecutive performances at the Universal Amphitheatre in late September/Early October.

I saw this tour in the Fall of 1979 when it came to Atlanta where I was going to grad school - Elton and Ray gave a great show, after the show I headed to the hotel where they were staying at and met Ray, said hi, thanks for a great show and went on my way. Time flies.

I was there 5th row with a good friend. My brother was also there but up in rafters. My brother's only request was for Elton to play Skyline Pigeon. So when Elton started playing it, I found my brother and we waved to each other it was a very special moment.
