Is it good to exercise in eating disorder recovery? People may think they are doing it to be "healthy", but is it really healthy for your body when you are still in recovery. Can it even keep you from full recovery? Or can it slow down the recovery process?

I am here to share my experience and what I learned after having bulimia and orthorexia and finally being able to fully recover. I share my knowledge, stories and offer support and encouragement to you if you need it. I am not a trained eating disorder recovery, mental health or medical professional. So please know that I do not have all the right answers and you are responsible for your own health at all times. Thank you for watching my videos and I hope they help you in some way :) Please subscribe to my channel if you do not want to miss any future videos!

I'm in the phase of exercise bulimia like you mentioned, and I feel it is sooo hard to break through. The fear of not exercising is killing me: gain weight, gain fat, lose muscle, blah blah blah. All those 'knowledge' mentioned in fitness and healthy websites. I am experiencing refeeding syndrome. If I plan not to go workout, them my anorexia voice will come back and I just cannot eat more. I'm so trapped. The vioces in my head are just killing me. I don't know why I just am so scared about body change.

Elisa, why more rest makes me more tired in recovery? I'm cutting down my exercise. Please advice, thank you. Please make more videos under exercise topic, especially how to stop, how to cope with anxiety and body changes. Thank you so much.

Elisa, I always have to walk to my university. I end up walking more than 10, 000 steps a day, but I can’t really do anything about it. Through this video, I understood that this walking has been giving me so much stress. But do you have any advice on what I could do to maybe reduce this or compensate the stress? (I can’t avoid going to university... sorry) I love your videos and they are helping me so much through my recovery atm... ❤️ xxxx

Elisa, what if I just have binge eating disorder (no bulimia or anorexia) and am not underweight? Do I still have to stop exercising?

I have a upper back problem. For that reason, I do lift weights once a week to strengthen the muscle. Is it okay to continue during the recovery? Thank you for in advance!

Stephanie Buttermore continued going to the gym during her "all in" journey. Shouldn't it be safe to exercise in recovery? I have gone to the gym 5 times a week for 5 years now. Stop exercising would be so hard and I don't want to lose my strength. But I want to fully recover. What should I do???
