Chance was diagnosed with aggressive stage 2 triple-negative breast cancer at 24 despite no symptoms other than a lump in her chest, that she found during a beach trip. In this video, she opens up about having no other symptoms besides a visible lump, the treatments and side effects she underwent and healing from her double mastectomy, breast surgery.

I had my full hysterectomy New Year’s Eve of 2015 at age 25. You are so right, I’d much rather have that surgery and be alive today than not have had the surgery and I would most likely have been dead by now. I was so lucky to have my partner by my side even though we had only been together for 9 months, and now almost 9 years later we are still happily together. I too had my port inserted too close to my heart and went into Afib. It happened right after they had put it in, in the operating room! They did not know what was causing it! When I went in to talk to my Oncologist I mentioned the Afib and she was shocked and told me right off what it was! Like you, had it removed and a new one put in. You are the only one I have heard of going through the same thing!

Had a double mastectomy 3 weeks ago on January 10th, exactly one year and one day after finding the lump. I also had grade 3, stage 2, triple negative cancer. I refused immediately to let it keep me down or even get me down.
