I find brand new items for pennies. I also take my elderly mother with me and they give her the senior discount. Bought a Kitchen Aid sauce pan brand new with lid for $2. I helped hurricane victims by cleaning out my closets and donating items to charity. I find the nicest picture frames for less than $1.

** Awesome Tips! I am a HUGE "GW" shopper. I donate as well as shop there, but we don't live in an area that gives a "discount coupon" when you donate... boo!!! LOL I always go in around the beginning of the month, and pick up their monthly calendar, and mark my "at home" calendar, with all the awesome sale dates!!! **

I donate my belongings to a thrift store that is directly associated with a Catholic School in my town. It helps the school feed the kids and the prices are so low that the less fortunate can shop there for newer shirts or warmer clothes.

Our salvation army does 50% off every Wednesday and it's a life saver!! Get most of my kids clothes for .50-.99 ¢ it rocks!

MY MOM HAD THAT SKIRT!! Haha my mom fully has that black floral skirt with a matching button down and it was one of her favorites for literally twenty years. I’m so jealous, I would love to have that to alter into a cute set

I volunteer at a thrift store that benefits battered woman. We receive a lot of items on Monday's & it does take a couple of days to get the items out. The more often you can go the better. Our store also sends out emails & text about sales. Happy shopping

I would love to see an "upcycle" of Goodwill episode. Like creating a great cozy cardi from a man's sweater. Or styling with "out-of-the-box" items. Like I can wear a boys size pants, (favs, $4 or so from GW!) Cargo style, and change the look just by the top(s) and the shoes/booties I choose to wear with them. Majority of my "stuff', lol, not just clothing line I just mentioned, but all kinds of things for the house. Goodwill everywhere!

But I think it would be fun for you to (more slowly this time!) show us some easy but effective hacks, like how to create new items our of old, and/or how to create an outfit, all Goodwill, that would be great to go out in. Something really creative, a piece from here....oh, and a piece from way over on the walk racks, and oh, look at these boys suit jackets..." And...dressing room time....is she drinking coffee in there?...."Almost done;"...
"Tah-dah look at this men's sweater OVER this cute but summery dress! Makes it a cute and warm winter dress!"

Tee-, hee, I'm sure you could do it, just don't let the manager see you talking to thin air!!
