mine constantly searches saying 'locating your phone' then eventually it will stop and say 'cant locate your phone. Your phone will be located if it connects to a network' ?!?!?!? I should add that it works occasionally, but usually it just does this crap.

can u turn off this in case someone is trying to lock your device or wipe it?Someone hacked my gmail and has access to this will they be able to control my device when I have it turned off?

My S8+ was stolen but before the sim was removed i locked the device. Ive reported to the police and investigation is still ongoing. However i want to ask if they (the thieves) can disable the lock, that is unlock (reset) it and sell it? I am so worried because it seems i have done all i can, locked and even tracked it ti their location until the sim was removed (i think). Please i need advice. Thank you.

It says my service provider doesn’t support the find my mobile service on your phones. So can I not use this service?

Can you turn off the notifications without having a samsung account. My grandmother doesn't want the service and doesn't want to make an account so that she can decline said service.

Why does it put up a message find my phone in the swipe down menu. It lets the person who stole it know you are tracking where they are

Nice video. Thanks for posting it. I am just searching one info about this function. What about the "locate your device" if the GPS is turned off? I mean can i remotely turn it on in order to locate the device? Or does the GPS need to be already turned ON before losing the phone? I am actually asking this because the google built-in locate my phone service, only function if the gps is already on. Just wodnering if the samsung find my phone, works better than that.
