Hi guys, here I showed up on this video how to change or convert BIOS mode UEFI to Legacy of an installed windows without losing data. Earlier we had made another video, which was about converting legacy to uefi and today's video is about converting uefi to legacy, but it's little easier method using a hard drive repair software. If you want to convert a Windows installation from a UEFI to legacy, then this video is for you. By following these instructions in this lesson. You can easily convert the GPT volume to MBR and switch from UEFI to BIOS in Windows.

Nice tutorial.
3 important notes:
1) EaseUS Pro is a paid program, not free.
2) While entering the BIOS in your own laptop requires pressing F2, on many systems it can be different keys. The most common ones are: DEL, F8, F10, F12 and sometimes others, so be sure to check with your hardware docs if you are unable to enter the BIOS.
3) Some BIOS's do not have Legacy mode available, for example - on MS surface book 2, so watch out before making any changes.

Both the trial and free version don't let me actually perform these changes... Can you confirm that the old trial version worked? Or did you buy a license?


And what version is this exactly? If the old trial worked, maybe it's possible to find the old version somewhere.

Very informative - GPT OEM installation painful to let any control over PC. OEM is like paying for a dog collar handing the chain to MS.

I had to transfer my disk to a legacy laptop. I used minitool partition wizard, after converting to mbr, windows stopped booting: disk error and funny symbols, bios was switched to legacy already.
I tried many different solutions.
Finally I just nuked the c partition with the efi files, formatted it. Then ran the bcedit commands. Windows was on f and it booted.

hello i have a 2gb laptop and i want to install 32 bit but the laptop has 64 bit installed on it and it wont let me run a 32 bit. the warning says its an EFI based computer so i should run 64 bit

GPT to MBR is not converting. It says "please resize the partition".
