Hey folks,

Good to see you again.

This week we got busy creating our new blackout family room. We found a super talented homeless guy called Toby that we decided to try and help out, I got a shiny new toy to play with for a few months, Gray got his hair cut and loads more super fun stuff for your face to tuck into.

Huge thank you to our partner Dulux this week. Without brands like Dulux working with us, we wouldn’t have had the help we needed to encourage us to create our new family room.

Oh and btw, we painted our new family room with Dulux Easycare in Polished Pebble. :)

Toby has uploaded his song to Bandcamp, we would have put it on iTunes but it takes about 2 weeks to get approved.
You can buy it from as little as £1 and would massively help him out get a roof over his head.
It's because of you that got to help him out so I'd like to thank you all on his behalf. The portable amp we got him will mean he can play more centrally in Bath and hopefully generate more money.

PS. I accidentally recorded over a scene on a memory card of us trying to track down Widge. Basically, we haven't heard from him and neither have any rescue centres, rest assured we're going to keep looking for him over the next couple of weeks. We'll keep you updated. :(

I am so sad about Widgey :( my mum runs a lost and found pets group where I live and said to share with you to follow some of these tips to help him get home!

Pour the contents of your vacuum on your lawn.
Hang some of your dirty/worn clothes on your line.
Leave something of his or yours strongly scented by your front and back door.
If he has a litter tray put it outside it may help him smell his way back home is basically the gist of all of the above! Sorry if you already tried these, just thought I'd share incase they help :) have a great week guys :)

Sometimes I just get reminded how much of a beautiful family you are...you do youtube for nothing and spend hours editing and filming for us. You don't care about whether people are rich or poor, homeless or not, and you treat everyone with complete respect...you helping Toby in a way other people would never do, shows how amazing you all are.

I'd like to share a little bit here if that's ok, last year like Toby I too was homeless and relied on the kindness of other people I'm very thankful and lucky that I had good friends at the time who looked after me until I got back on my feet. I've watched you guys for years now and I leave a comment on most videos saying how much I enjoyed it but this is above and beyond, seeing you guys make the choice to help him out and listen to him without judging or criticising is truly truly amazing and it truly warms my heart just the sheer size of your generosity. Song bought- what a mad society we live in, an artist like Toby left to struggle on the streets, offering the gift of his music to the people who pretend to be blind, they don't see the musician, but they hear his words, his chords, his passion- and they take it for free, and he keeps on playing.

As an early years practitioner student in training I am all for the dulux inhabited play campaign! 'Play is a child's work' as a great child theorist once said. Making mess is fun and tidying mess up can be equally as fun! I think ALOT of parents are hesitant of letting children make mess because of the tidying up factor. Tidying can be a game it doesn't have to be boring for both adult and child and end in tantrums from both adult and child. Fully support the dulux ad! Good luck with the home birth!❤
