Oh boy, I really didn't expect this type of drama from Matt. I watched your original video and only found this one when I looked it all up again to stay updated. I hope a combined effort from all the people receiving DMCA's from him (yours isn't the only channel) will eventually bring enough attention to this that it all gets resolved. Some weeks ago I thought Matt should seriously back down, make an apology and so on before this thing spirals out of control and he reaches the point of no return. Now I'm not so sure anymore. I don't think his reputation can be saved anymore. He silences everyone who speaks out against him. We need bigger channels to bring attention to this.

I'm just learning about this and it's sad I'm not that shocked. In a fair amount of his older videos he has a somewhat cocky attitude at times, and a slightly condescending tone. The latter still carried on into the present. However, I just thought that was me being sensitive and a "personality difference". Hearing all this just makes too much sense now though. Might be confirmation bias, but damn.
Slightly unrelated it was also eyebrow raising when he started uploading the click baity "white guy speaks [Asian language] perfectly!" videos.
