70% vegetables??? Pontzer made a chart that you can easily find online. 70% of their diet WAS NOT VEGETABLES. The bulk of their diet was Honey, Meat, Baobab (a fruit) and berries. Tubers comprised the rest and they were a TINY portion of the Hadza's calories. I'm literally looking at PONTZER'S CHART as I type this. It's unbelievable how consistently wrong you are.

You’re wrong. I’ve read the book and it says their main food is tubers, berries, honey, and meat. They don’t eat lots of vegetables.

Paul’s animal based diet literally helps me live with a devastating disease. I’d get an interview set up man!

Here's data from anthropologist Frank Marlowe's book on the Hadza. Table 5.4: Percent kcal by category WHILE IN CAMP:
Men:
Berries: 6.3%
Tubers: 5.0%
Honey: 30.2%
Baobab (fruit): 13.8%
Meat: 39.6%
Other: 5.1%

Women:
Berries: 17.2%
Tubers: 23.5%
Honey: 14.2%
Baobab: 19.2%
Meat: 19.3%
Other: 6.6%

So the men eat twice as much meat as the woman and the opposite is true for tubers and berries. There's only one vegetable listed in table 5.1, Foods Eaten by Hadza. This is consistent with what I have seen in recent videos as well as the account given by James Stephenson in his book Language of the Land. It should be noted that the data above is only for when they are in camp. The men often go on long hunts, and according to James Stephenson, he only met one man that would admit to digging for tubers when they were hungry because they considered it women's work, though he does mention them carrying tubers given to them by their wives.

James Stephenson claims that when asked what they would eat as their last meal, they all said "Honey", and there's a video on youtube where a guy asks the Chief what the most important thing in life is and he answered: "Meat".

It should be noted that the Hadza have lived in their current habitat for probably 40 thousand years, and it is believed that as they have been encroached upon by cattle herders, they have been forced to rely more and more on non animal foods, though not by choice.

They're omnivores who focus on eating meat or honey whenever they can, but also eat vegetables.
Go figure, you're not gonna turn down food in the wild.

It depends on the availability of food. But most videos I've seen on them are meat and honey related not many vegetable feasts seen to my knowledge

That’s clearly a lie, no chance it’s 70%. Watch anyone who’s interacted with them talk about them and they’ll all say otherwise. 1 dude in the school system which is known to push bs about nutrition isn’t more accurate.

I'm not disagreeing that many ancient tribes probably ate vegetables, but I think CarnivoreMD is on the right track when it comes to "the healthiest" diet for humans. There were civilizations that ate all kinds of foods, including some with very high fat intake from marine life.

I have a decent medical background and have heard all the current and past trendy diets that are sometimes unhealthy in my eyes.

Some people are vegatarians, some people do the keto diet. Many diets are RESTRICTING nutrients and vitamins. And guess what, people have every excuse, such as they take vitamins and minerals, etc. But CarnivoreMD is the first to bring to the table, many key points everyone is leaving out.

Do we really think VEGTABLE OIL is healthy for humans? My whole life I was taught that it was healthy to add to your diet. But a high majority is MAN-MADE and SUPER PROCESSED. CarnivoreMD is the first Medical Doctor I have seen go out of their way to truly bring this to light. Decades ago, our society thought smoking was healthy, and recently people thought vaping was not damaging to our lungs. We used to have trans fat in foods not long ago.

We create these things that we think are good for our bodies, whether its for companies to make money or people to enjoy the feeling or taste of a food. But soon after more "extensive" studying, we find many things are not good for us.

If you have watched CarnivoreMD, he talks about an animal based diet that includes many different food groups, but stays away from "PROCESSED FOODS".

How many people on a KETO diet eat pork reins and processed foods that contain no sugar, thinking that it's good for them? Vegetarians lack so many vital nutrients. I can garuntee you that there were no ancient tribes that were "Thriving"from being strict vegetarians.

CarnivoreMD is also not completely against vegetables. He just points out that there are "more nutrient dense" foods than leaves and roots, and that there are some vegetables that have defense chemicals that can mess with our digestion and other parts of our bodies.

Also to note, it depends what we consider vegetables in this study you were referring to. Many "thought to be" vegetables are actually fruits. tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, etc.

The more interesting premise of the book, and I don’t know why he doesn’t give it away is that the Hodza burn no more calories than seven Terry people of the same size. They burn more calories on exercise, but their bodies use fewer calories for other processes. Whereas secondary people burn the same number of calories, on other processes in the body and fewer on exercise. Which is, the reason that you see so little result from exercise alone in terms of weight loss. However, exercise does do other things that are beneficial for long-term health, but the real issue is what you eat. And different combinations or distributions of macros are going to have different effects for different people.

You are actually kinda right some studies suggest that hadza's diet is highly diverse and it depends on the availability of the food during seasons when it wet they consumes mostly meat but during drier seasons they mostly live on plants humans are supposed to have a real divers diet
