News: Naughty Dog Loses The Last of Us Lead Character Artist

Naughty Dog has lost yet another member of its staff, this time in the shape of lead character artist on The Last of Us, Michael Knowland.

People don't realize Naughty Dog experienced massive departures when transitioning from PS2 to PS3, I believe at the time they lost nearly half of their staff. I assume that to some degree the same thing is happening here, it's just not as severe

To all of those people saying this is nothing, calm down etc. There is obviously something going on at Naughty Dog. I'd already argue that the fact that the people leaving are HUGELY important leaders in the team is going to hurt the games, it also obviously states there are underlying issues at Naughty Dog that are making all of these talented people leave. So no, it's not a "small thing to be ignored".

This is depressing.. I love Naughty Dog.. they use to be so damn close together making projects like Crash Bandicoot and Jak and Daxter.. I miss the old Naughty Dog who stuck together.

I'd like to see people carry on saying, there's nothing going on relax. But that doesn't mean I'm joining the camp off people saying RIP Sony and Naughty DOG, thats over-exaggerating.  If 1 or 2 people leave then there's not too much to worry about. But when that tops 5 vital people up and leaving (including the villains voice actor) there's something odd going on. I've said this before, but this doesn't spell and end for Naughty dog. I can imagine lot of talented people want to join the studio and work on their franchises. But it does look bad for Uncharted 4, there must be some big argument over some change in the game. Maybe Amy wanted to do something new with the game but Neil druckman (or however you spell his surname) wanted to keep it very similar. Just speculation on my part.

Not like this matters anyways. All the ps4 games are rehashed indies games that already came out on pc. Ps4 has one game worth mentioning. How sad.
