I feel like they should have kept this in the game, just shrunk down the sewer level so it didn't slow the pace as much. They really should have played with Ellie's PTSD more, like in this scene.

They should've showed us her PTSD while we played as her instead of in almost the end of the game.
Just show us seeing her lose her mind slowly while she's by herself.

I like the subtler PTSD hints throughout the game. There’s a point where she is panicking and having a breakdown and at that point Tommy finds her and as he calls out her name she doesn’t even realize Tommy is there and hallucinates hearing Joel saying her name for a few moments. I’ve experienced audio hallucinations after suffering a heavy loss and it’s moments like that in the game that make Ellie’s grief and pain seem so real.

this just feels more real cause in the middle of the apocalypses no matter how bad your ptsd is, you gotta keep moving! i can feel how bad her anxiety must be in that moment but she has to control and keep moving without having a crisis

The fact I thought my game got stuck or something then I realized hey maybe I just have to shake my controller, I did not need to get jump scared by his death 😭again

Still one the best portrayals of ptsd in a game I think. Curious to see what else they could have done with it in a longer cut of the game

out of the three lost levels i think they should have kept this one in the final game i think it was the best out of all of them.

Dang I wish they kept that! They depicted PTSD pretty well

We don’t need to be constantly reminded that he got his head and face bashed in. I’m glad they kept the ptsd scenes to a minimum
