Talk on Improving and Assessing Logistics Port Operations in Sokhna Port, Egypt

Mahmoud Sami is a researcher at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport and also he was working as Spare Parts Logistics Team Leader by DHL in Vienna, Austria. Before that, he was working for PepsiCo. Egypt and Aramex Egypt in the Transportation team. He is holding a Master’s Degree in International Trade Logistics Management. Sami’s primary expertise is in Transportation and Warehousing Management. He was participating in three big projects during his career life for two Multinational Companies (PepsiCo. and Dubai Ports World) which enhanced the Supply Chain Productivity and created new KPIs to control the working performance. Sami has research focusing on improving and assessing the Sea Ports Operation Procedures and he has earned an award in MARLOG III in the year 2014.
