It is our hope that a more sophisticated awareness and in-depth knowledge of what lies at the “heart” of 21st century pop culture, will allow families and individuals to more clearly distinguish well-intended, authentic entertainment from deceptively-crafted propaganda, which attacks the minds, confuses the senses, and rips apart the fabric of society.

I try and ask people this and people get so upset when you try and address this issue.

The Sabbath is Saturday, Sunday, a.k.a. sun–day is the day of sun worship Catholicism is a mix of paganism and actual earrings of Christ. So if you conduct your Sabbath activities on a Sunday, you aren’t honoring Yahweh you are worshiping sun gods

It's not all Protestants, for instance Seventh Day Adventists. I mean, it's in their name.

For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
Romans 7:5-6

Exodus 20
8Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Exodus 23
12Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest: that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed. 13And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.

Mark 2
23And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn. 24And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful? 25And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him? 26How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him? 27And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: 28Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.
Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, (Touch not; taste not; handle not; Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.
Colossians 2:16-23

🤔 the Catholic Church changed the Sabbath to Sunday under their own authority to have been able to do so. Sabbath is Saturday (by our own modern calendars anyway) and sure, few believers respect that and more should. In fact, if the church hadn't tampered so much, things could be clearer and cause less confusion as to cause Christ seekers to give up on Sabbath rest/holiness and say that Jesus is their rest/Sabbath. I don't think we should work or toil in labor on Sabbath, but the sinner has an advocate in Jesus, so they are not wrong or condemned. "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath"
Catholicism is insanity

For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
Hebrews 4:8-11
Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

Seventh Day from when? Was it the seventh day from the first utterance of that command? Do we have that exact date? Are Catholics strictly following the Jewish calendar which would’ve been in effect at that time?

Or maybe God just meant we should take a rest every seventh day to restore, have fellowship, and observe rituals and teachings of faith…regardless of what specific calendar day it is?🤷🏼‍♂️

I’ve never been Catholic, and I’m not really much of a Christian anymore. But I can definitely see an attempt at “we’re holier than thou” when it’s in front of me….

Oh my goodness. I don't worship the Lord just on Sunday. I worship Him EVERY day. Yes, it's been a tradition to gather on Sundays (the Lord's day) since the early church. But, there is nothing significant about Sunday. I know SDA'S try to bring up the whole Catholic/Sunday thing with them changing the sabbath. Ok, that's Catholic. To most protestants, sabbath was nailed to the cross, abolished, fulfilled in Christ alone. You can find that in the new testiment.

Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath, and we rest in Jesus every day of the week.

Second, Jesus fulfilled the law. He was the only one (God in human form) capable of fulfilling it perfectly. It’s fine to worship/rest on Saturday, but be careful not to revert back to the “curse of the law” that Jesus fulfilled.
