I love the mental image of Roman tour guides responding to the question, "Where was Julius Caesar assassinated" by saying, "Right ovwr there -- at the bus stop."

I love Emma's nonchalant, almost annoyed description of Caesar's behavior lol

The mention of United States President Donald Trump is ridiculous. There is no comparison.

I could listen to this Emma lady talk about Rome for … a long time. A very long time. This is saying a lot because I have ADHD and sticking to one thing for any amount of time is very challenging.

So, Caesar and the ancients weren't woke? Big surprise.

I loved this one.... I can't learn too much about this man. Too much Caesar is never enough.

I gotta' admit this was utterly laughable at certain points in this "documentary".😅🤣🙂 Some people should NOT be teaching history. Or teaching anything....to anyone....at all. smh😏🙄

The republic was an empire in all but name ever since the fall of Carthage and in the last 100 years before Caesar's ascension there were 5 civil wars. It was only a matter of time before Rome either collapses or is reformed and to be honest I doubt such a drastic change is possible unless somebody takes absolute power.

The story is great until you start comparing Caesar to Trump. That part you got all wrong!!

This woman is nuts. Comparing Julius Caesar to Trump is completely insane. How this woke woman teaches anything is completely mind blowing.

Nothing he did or didnt do really matters ... the name alone will be legendary for millenia... synonymous with greatness power authority i see him on mount Olympus alongside Zeus

Julius was looked upon as a great general, who's campaigns were studied for centuries. Or so I've been led to believe.

That thing with glasses is absolutely insufferable. regardless of all the good and bad Julius Caesar was truly a great man who did great things… great meaning tremendous, not good. for that woman to criticize such an amazing man and hold him to modern standards is a joke. It’s people like that teaching the next generation. That’s why they are screwed.

Does the shorthaired feminist have to give her personal thoughts on everything he did? We get it, you hate him.

What I like most about this vid's the more-than-one point of view.

A great service for differentiated thinking.

Thank you.

Hate the absolute unneeded profanity from the "historian" with no decorum and a buzz cut. Leaving half watched for this purpose. Bettany Hughes would have been better as presenter than this, thing.
