What a journey this has been. While some of my previous songs have been grounded in a more euphoric lane, "Down Low" pulls upon these elements while introducing a darker, grittier, bassline driven sound.
When it comes to my creative process, I'm a perfectionist. From the songwriting, production, to the filming and editing of the video – it is important to me that I'm at the helm, ensuring every element comes to life how I envision.
As always, I can't do this alone. Big thanks to:
Sorana – such an integral part of this song, from the songwriting, recording, to filming. Can't wait to make more songs with you.
Twin Diplomacy – two of my good friends who I share a studio with really helped bring this song to life in the production process. Couldn't have done it without you.
Griff Clawson and Novodor – absolutely crushed the vocal recording and helped write such insane melodies.
Joe Grode – working hand-in-hand with me on last minute notice helping film, direct, bring my vision to life.
Sam Lynch – absolutely killed the lighting setup – thanks for letting us use your studio!
