I remember reading about this episode, supposedly a scam since the law enforcement tactics done here is not at all accurate to how it's done IRL. I don't trust Kitty either, either she's in on the whole deal or she's an incredibly bad actor because she certainly didn't react to anything as if she was hearing it for the first time.
