Chris i love this theory so so much. Id love to create my business character before identify whom I wanna serve. You're bringing many fresh ideas into my creative life, I will definitely think about this and actualize in my daily practice. Always appreciate your wisdom !

I think the term "flaw" is usually very misleading, challenges are more important than flaws, Akagi and Tokuchi arent traditionaly flawed but theyre entertaining as hell cause you want to be surprised, you want to crack the code with them. When authors get too hung up on weakeness is when they think the story ends just cause the protagonist is very strong and capable (as if pro athletes in real life have no problems cause theyre elite lol)

All real characters have almost justifiable character flaws. Great characters have great character flaws.

And story, it's about throwing a curveball at that character that forces them to confront a flaw.
