Historybound Lookbook Challenge

In this video I challenge myself to come up with 5 different historybound outfits for a lookbook. My goal was to show outfits that are comfortable and easy to wear, so as to get more wear out of my beloved historical clothing items without dressing fully historically on a regular day. I've been struggling to find back my personal style after I went through a lot of changes in my life, and historybounding is definitely helping! Seeing Edwardian meets 40s made my heart stop - it never occurred to me that I didn't have to CHOOSE between my two favourite history-bounding styles!! Also, really love seeing the tattoos and piercings with the history-bounding! Super badass. I have got to get myself to the fabric shop ASAP!

I loved this! I was particularly struck with how creative the Time Traveler out was, and I was SHOCKED at how well the Viking outfit translated to a modern ensemble!

I loved it so much I watched it twice! I even paused it to get a gooood look at your hats. I love the first Edwardian look and the Time Traveler. That sweater is SO good!

The last look is basically my everyday look. I feel Edwardian translates to modern pretty seamlessly. But much like your other commenters- omg that Viking look! It has fired a little desire for me to look more into Viking clothing, not in the least because it looks comfy and I love wool. :P

The modern jumper with the blouse that has the lovely lace collar was really nice and the Edwardian walking skirt is so classic. Fab!!
