Ok, this might work, I live in a condo and garage has no charger, so apparently if I leave the car for 31 days and I TURN OFF Power It will save battery drain and My car will be good when I return. I hope this works.

My S is now on V10 2019 software. The 'Power Off' function has moved to the 'safety and security' tab. With Tesla a lot of stuff can change in the 2 years since this video was made.

There should be an analog emergency power supply cut off switch or anything. Imagine due to software issue your car is accelerating on maximum and you have no way to turn off the car...

Nope. If you’re inside, at least in the driver’s seat, the car WILL wake up and the instrument panel will stay on. (Not the not console display.)

How do you do this to save power over a long parking period without charging?   Can you leave a door open, power off, then get out?

Funny, I've never had to worry about turning off accessories in my car. Maybe when the battery technology is good enough these toys will do better.
