I love the mod called Immersive Taming, it introduces a friendly taming method to most dinos, which makes way more sense than the aggressive knockout tame.

Binge watching your guides has become a new hobby of mine. Genuinely enjoy watching them and still learn some new tips (even with 3, 600+ hours into ARK).

There are a few other tricks I’d like to share:
1) For passive tames, I noticed that the interval in between the first feeding and the second feeding is the longest. The intervals in between each of the succeeding feedings are much faster.

2) Protecting whatever you are taming is essential to ensure the best post tame stats. Every hit a dino takes while knocked out can massively reduce taming effectiveness, meaning less additional levels per dino. Whether a passive or KO tame, I patrol the area to take out carnivores that could attack it. For high-level tames, I sometimes surround them with spikes to keep stuff away.

I'm so glad I came across your channel! You have great videos and explain many concepts with superb clarity. In the past I tried so so many times to get into this game but never could but now I finally figured out why thanks to your channel. The reason was I always thought the dino taming was a gimmick (just for riding dinos) not a main part of the gameplay and survival. I've realized ARK should be called beastmaster the video game because of how important the dinos are. It completely shifts how I was approaching the game.

Ark is so underrated people play games like Fortnite and in many ways it’s overrated ark is way more beautiful and has one of the best game endings and dlcs and has one of the best lore of any game.
