My mom put me on adderrall when I was 8 and when I got pregnant with my son at 19 I immediately quit taking it and it threw me through such a loop. So much of what I thought was myself was just symptoms of the adderrall. Tried to get back on it a couple years ago and hated it. Will never go back

My son took it when he was in his early teens and it made him angry. 10 years later, he takes it to help concentrate at work.

Because if you dont need them they make you have alot of energy. If you have adhd and i mean really not you think you do, meds like this slow you wayyyy down. They do not speed you up, if they do your not adhd. Idc what anyone says

As much people want to have a prescription for that in the beginning, it’s like your life’s changed. Oh you’re able to do so much life great until maybe seven months go by if that depending on your mentality and how your brain works or history and family, etc. you’ll be taking more than prescribed and out of your prescription beforeable to fill it you can only get so much and eventually it’s not enough you go through withdrawal when you don’t have it for certain amount of time if you take it too much and you go through it too fast it becomes that prescription. that is worse than not having.

I took ampheta-dextro combo in middle school because regular name brand adderall didn’t work haha!! Crazy that it used to be dextro-ampheta AND that it was over the counter lol that stuff turned me into a zombie sometimes.

They almost should sell it over the counter again. The amount of micro plastics in our water and food is enough to absolutely destroy your dopamine transmitters. I take 30mg a day just to beat crippling ADHD.
