In this tutorial, I will be showing you 6 possible ways to fix the problem of missing drive during Windows 11 or Windows 10 installation. These solutions include:

1. Check that your SSD or Drive works fine
2. Properly reattach your drive firmly to the port, you can also try changing to another USB port. Preferably from a USB 3.0 port to a 2.0 port or vice versa.
3. Check that your computer supports the the M.2 SSD standard of your drive i.e. NVMe vs. SATA.

4. Use diskpart to format your drive.
5. Toggle your storage controller mode from AHCI to RST or vice versa.
