Restic Guide Part 1: Introduction

Restic is a powerful backup program that allows you to backup to USB drives, network storage, and the cloud. It's become my absolute favorite backup program. So much so that I've decided to create an entire series on it. In this video, I introduce you to Restic.

Excellent video! Thank you for doing an introductory walkthrough of how to actually use the software. One question, though: it would've been nice to see what the inside of the restic "media" folder looks like.

I think I'm gonna switch to restic after seeing this video 😅
Problem i have with rclone is that the encryption doesnt work if the file name is too long, and i have thousands of pdfs and books that i have to separately back up unencrypted, which becomes hard to manage. This seems like a great solution where i can just backup the entire User directory 😂

but I did not like Restic's password structure for every task, one time would be nice.
