The Call of the Wild | Sounds of the Wild

Adapted from the beloved literary classic, THE CALL OF THE WILD vividly brings to the screen the story of Buck, a big-hearted dog whose blissful domestic life is turned upside down when he is suddenly uprooted from his California home and transplanted to the exotic wilds of the Alaskan Yukon during the Gold Rush of the 1890s. As the newest rookie on a mail delivery dog sled team--and later its leader--Buck experiences the adventure of a lifetime, ultimately finding his true place in the world and becoming his own master.

As a live-action/animation hybrid, THE CALL OF THE WILD employs cutting edge visual effects and animation technology in order to render the animals in the film as fully photorealistic--and emotionally authentic--characters.

I watched Togo before I watched this and honestly, I enjoyed Call of the Wild more. It’s way more fast paced and has way more action than Togo. Sure the CGI isn’t perfect but that didn’t bother me much at all because the story is so good. I highly recommend this movie to all dog lovers! I loved this movie so much I’m gonna watch it again in theaters!

This movie seriously sucked. It was terrible and I hope it tanks. For example how do you have the law of club and FANG when you take out the law of fang?? Was the ambush of Indian heathen too controversial for you, Disney?? Did you have to make Francois a woman because you couldn’t handle the only woman being Mercedes the prejudice brat? That is the last time I will buy another Disney movie ticket. Just stop.
