Amazing graphics and explanation. I'm surprised this doesn't have hundreds of thousands, if not millions of views, because nothing else on here breaks down this content as thoroughly for a laymen to understand well.

Hello Dr, may I ask, currently (Jan 2021) I have symptoms of back pain not recovering since Oct 2020. My Dr ordered an MRI, but since it is a public hosp, it is fully booked and my MRI appointment is in April 2021. In case before the appointment I no longer have pain and can walk normally, should I still go for an MRI or should I cancel?
A little background: I have radiating pain on my right leg under the hip until my ankles. It especially hurts when I sneeze (I felt a pulling in my legs then electric shock then tingling.) Currently I cannot stand or walk for long since the pressure hurts surrounding my ankles and calf. I need to rest to relieve the pain and I will feel extremely tired even after a short distance. My Dr's already prescribed pain killer including nerve pain reliever since november, but it doesn't work and is worsening. That is why I am scheduled for an MRI.)
