WO WO WO GUYS CHILL, don't judge a book by its cover. My mom, she is my BEST FRIEND and my everything. It was a friendly smack like don't get my words wrong. My mom is one of the sweetest human I ever seen in my existence, she been strict with me whenever it needed and on other times, she's chill, alhamdullilah, I'm so blessed to have a mother like her. I'm so luck Allah swt have me a mom like her. We goof around all the time and it's not what you think. The real fact is we should keep our sajdah place clean, if we keep the prayer mat open, the dust particals will stick to the prayer mat and hence the mat will be dirty and also if accidentally anyone steps with their uncleaned feet on the sajdah place of the prayer mat it would be dirty as well .to avoid this it is said to fold and keep the prayer mat.

But due to lack of complete knowledge about this fact our parents used to say this that "saithan will pray on it and that's y we will forget our prayer" . As they also heard about this from their own parents too .like this from generation by generation they started saying it and lost the real meaning of this practice.

For me as a Muslim, I have not heard about it all my life, and I think it is self-evident how my leaving the carpet allows the devil to pray, and does the devil even pray, and if he prays, I will not mind. I am the first one who will support the devil’s repentance.
