Trout Chow Dough:
1 cup Purina Aquamax
1 cup flour
1/2 cup water

Hey everyone, Stephen here from Everyman Angling. Just a quick reminder — the goal of this video is to show you a fast and effective dough bait recipe.

If you’ve got a little extra time, here are a couple of ways to improve it:

Grind your fish pellets in a food processor to get a fine powder — this boosts the scent and consistency.
Use fish oil instead of water to mix your bait. Only add water at the end, just enough to activate the flour. This will improve scent and increase shelf life.
The version shown in the video is the quick-and-easy method that works and catches fish. But with these simple upgrades, you can make it even better.

I know this was made a year ago but for those who want it to float you can add 1/4 to 1/2 cups of chopped cork and boil in water just enough to where the bait floats

Little tip, when you scale your fish save it and add to the dough. It works really well. If you want the bait to flaot grind up cork and mix in with flour etc
