you missed a few major points about green card.
1. if you're born in india or china, you can forget about this pathway
2. employers aren't willing to apply your green card that readily
3. india born are not eligible for the diversity green card lottery, so they can only apply for family-based or employment-based green card which BOTH have massive backlogs.

i was born in uganda so i got in through diversity green card lottery. i got picked up and that's how i came.

Oh so you didnt seek a chance, you were given a chance in addition to already meeting conditions of previous employee. The rest of the video don't matter after that 😆because getting a chance to reveal your existence is the biggest problem for any person.

Ah here I'm with 4 years career gap due to preperation of upsc and currently planning to do my best in software development field thinking of getting into a maang company and after gaining sufficient experience aiming to move abroad. Now I understood it ain't that easy even for a skilled developer as the process is so complicated. I think luck also favours here. Im thinking of these things even before starting to write "hello world" and my toxic mind is saying you will easily achieve what you're aiming. Is there anyone who got into good positions even after having 4-5 years of career gap?
