It’s Lilac Season, Let’s Make A Lilac Simple Syrup

Lilac Season is so short in springtime, so I decided to make the most of the blossoms. I decided to make a lilac simple syrup, it’s super easy to make and taste amazing. I added four butterfly pea flowers to the water and lilacs just to enhance the color and a 1/4 teaspoon of citric acid to make the color more lilac, than blue.

Lilac Simple Syrup:

2 cups of Lilac blossoms
2 cups of Organic Cane Sugar
2 cups Water
1/4 teaspoon citric acid
4 butterfly pea flowers
