The way to spot a fake G-Shock is wait until the person walks through a doorway and if the watch doesn't bang against and get caught on the door jam it's probably fake...

I like Casio's $15 solar watch which stores in capacitor not battery...but if you're SAS/special forces, you need a baby g or g shock

I have a G-shock metal, and I love it, I gave worn it faithfully for the past four years or so, thru work & play and still looks like the day I bought it,

The only useful thing here was the beep imo. The most accurate fake gshocks even have incorrect pitch.
