Having a toolless modular laptop is interesting but I prefer using screws for reliability but all of them needs to be phillips. But if the locking mechanism is made of aluminium then that is fine too

I hate the big corpos and their moral bankruptcy like the most, but it's not their fault that you are a shitty parent. Pay more attention to your kids and don't use tools meant for adults to keep them distracted so that they don't bother you. You ban adult content in one place, they'll look for it somewhere else.

I would actually prefer screws to a "quick-release" system. Screws are almost always more durable, although cheap (soft) screws are pretty easy to strip or to ruin the heads. If the quick-release thing fails, your laptop might stay as parts of a laptop, instead of a laptop.

And if you need a push-pin tool, it's not even toolless.

Parents should be responsible for thier children. Not pass the buck to others. My brother has some very strict rules when it comes to when and how and what they can do with the internet. Even I follow the same rules when they are by me or any other kid that may be by me. There will always be things in the world a danger to children. But it is your responsibility as an adult to teach your kids how to avoid such traps and also how to navigate the world safely, without wrapping them in bubble wrap and never letting them out of the house, till they are grown and then shoving them into a world they have no idea how to navigate. Not the job of companies or Government to police your children.
