I just realized that the ENTIRE purpose of Rumple killing Cinderella’s fairy godmother and making a deal to take her baby was so that he could use it to get Emma to owe him a favor.

I love that the payoff to their deal doesn't take place until next season! They could have had him cash in his favor a lot earlier but they knew to save it for something big and boy did they!

It's been so long since I watched this! I have to rewatch it from the beginning. This show is good.

It's been years since I last saw this and but I still love it (except for season 7 that sucked BIG time). But what pissed me off was that the writers didn't keep Emma as a confident, headstrong, badass woman as the seasons went on. They made her more of a lonely wimp that needed to be reminded of her family that she's not alone every time. However, this is coming from someone who hasn't seen the show for some time.

What Emma said about no jury putting a woman behind bars to save her child, I don't know. Personally, if you're pregnant and decide to give it up, then you probably know you're not ready. If you have even a slight feeling of keeping it, don't make the deal!!! I personally don't see how it's a hard decision but it certainly shouldn't have been taken lightly. And if you're actually willing to give the child up in a deal AT ALL, then you're not ready to be a mother. I know this is a fantasy show but I'm talking about real life. If you make a deal like that and regardless if you've 'changed your mind's, if you assault someone, I'll agree to put you in jail. It may seem heartless but you shouldn't make a deal like that if you're ready to be a mother, else you don't deserve to be one

I can't remember as I watched it so long ago, but what exactly was he intending to do with the baby? There wasn't really a need for spells etc. in series one.
