So is the southeast USA just gonna lose a city or two every year now?

Desantis should've been fighting for better homeowners insurance carriers instead of fighting Mickey Mouse.

I think we may need to create a 6th category for hurricanes. Nicely explained, Mr. Roker.

Thanks Roker, for being honest about what a large surge can do to homes.

I wonder how many insurance companies are left after Helene and Milton. It would bankrupt any company

Some people now don’t know this, but the predecessor name to Milton was Michael, which left devastation in the Florida Panhandle as a Category 5 storm six years ago.

Don't wait for help. Don't rebuild. This is the new normal. This is climate mayhem.

Florida is for people who don't learn the first time :
GET OUT AND STAY OUT!
Florida is swampland not meant for Humans, only Gators and Snakes.

No municipality can handle 15 inches of rain. None. Hope at best its half this but I definitely cant control this and sadly no one can and dont bother praying to God. He wont help

The moment those insurance companies started leaving, people should have caught on and left too.

FL is no longer inhabitable long-term. Rising cost of living and hurricanes aren't a good mix.

Too bad Florida is more prepared for a culture war, than a bad hurricane season.
