A Beginners Guide - How to Use Scriptable Objects in Unity!

Let's start making scriptable objects in Unity! Have you been struggling trying to understand how to use Scriptable Objects? Well fear no more!

Let my beautiful voice help sooth your woes as I guide you through the muddy waters that is Scriptable Objects

What better way to make a tutorial than to stick it in a beautiful test scene. I love the Polygon stuff from SyntyStudios so here is the demo scene we get in the pack.

This an intro and we get in to the meat about ScriptableObjects in the next video.

Hey man, just found out your channel. Haven't finished this video yet, but I'm loving it so far. Love your energy and attitude.
You're like the Bob Ross of game dev here haha. You could speak a little louder though, would help a lot.

As of Unity 2017+, the Gizmos trick no longer works. Instead, select the script in the inspector In the top left you can change the icon (same way you would change a gizmo on a gameobject in the scene) and that will change it for all SOs of that type.
