I identify. Twice I’ve gone into hypovolemic shock at home with a sudden, severe GI bleed. I take Warfarin. Twice I’ve had EMTs get me out of the house, covered in black diarrhea. They were so cool and compassionate with me. I was dying of embarrassment, and blood loss, but they made it so much better. I’m forever grateful.
