I love your tutorials and they have been a big help in my journey through the cyber universe, but the challenge that I am facing at this point is how to be able to access a local server from other computers on my home network...
There are a lot of good tutorials on how to remotely access my home server from the public side of my modem/router, but I am not finding any tutorials or information to how to access my local WAMPP, XAMPP, or IIS local server from my Desktop or Laptop  on the same LAN.
I am trying to set up a home office environment that will centrally handle my FTP, And Web Development as well as My Databases for my home based Office/Business, and I hope you can offer some help with this problem???

Make sure that all services are running, i.e. Apache, PHP, and MySQL. Also, what version of Windows and Wamp are you using?

Hi, when I click localhost from the WAMP tray, I get a bank firefox page, even with a services on. Do you know why this may be?

Also, does the writing of code take place in a text editor like eclipse?

Thanks for your help
