Don't forget that it's TCL CSOT that supplies the screens for Sony and Samsung. The difference lies in the image processing, that's all. The assembly standards are the same for all brands.

Both TCL and Hisense have stepped up their game this year and a lot of people are leaning towards these 2 brands because they are affordable and both have excellent features. Really are a value for money options. 😊

First time watching your channel and I have to go out of my way to tell you how much I appreciate the fact that you ask questions instead of giving answers. It really feels refreshing.

After a frustrating experience with Samsung (smudges on the screen and very low performance) I went to TCL and now I have a Hisense. Sorry, but I can´t see me going back to Samsung, LG, Sony or any traditional brand anymore. The best bang for the budget market is now full of good choices with TCL and Hisense...

Just bought a TCL 65 QM8 so I can give my LG 65 C1 to my parents. WOW. I do not miss the OLED at all. Image quality is very close but the brightness is instantly noticeable, and no auto dimming in games! All this for $900? Hell to the yeah.

I personally got the 65” Hisense U7K it’s mini led and I have been pretty blown away and it’s only $729 right now and the screen is a 120/144 screen

TCL and hisense have come a long way and have improved greatly every year. Samsung and sony will need to adjust things if they want to stay competitive because tcl and hisense are right on their heels with their tvs. If they get their software and motion upgraded, they'll take over the market. I will probably get the 75 inch hisense u8k. That panel is a ips aps panel at that size. The 55 and 65 inch are VA panels so that is also something to consider. I've heard great things regarding hisense this year so I'm pulling the plug on it.

I have the 55 in 546 series TCL. Hav this tv almost 2 years. No problem. No dirty screen affect. TCL and Hisense haven’t had any problems with. The price is right. Which TV outside of Sony has the best skin colors, not oled.? I’ve seen your tv page. It’s very helpful. Thanks

First of all. You need to research Samsung, LG and Sony. Although, these 3 are Korean and Japanese companies. They are still made in China and in many cases Mexico.

Since there are no perfect TVs, the model that you decide to buy is the TV that offers you the most features you really want and has the fewest "compromises" that would bother you. I don't deny that both Hisense and TCL make excellent LCD TVs that offer great bang-for-the-buck value in their price range. I will say, though, that my personal preference is for OLED and QD-OLED TVs since I'm drawn to the high-quality image they display, and in my particular situation I don't actually need the extra brightness that LCD panels provide. (I'm also willing to pay extra for a reliable, long-lasting TV.) I realize that other folks have different criteria and I can understand how a Hisense or TCL TV would be the perfect choice for them to buy.

I purchased my first HD TV 20 years ago...A two thousand dollar Mitsubishi the size of a refrigerator... Since, I have purchased several LG, each easily over 1, 200... I needed a 55 inch for my office and did the unthinkable...I bought a Hisense... I wanted the U8H but had to get the U7H because of availability... It was only 500 dollars.... Cost/performance ratio, best TV I've ever owned, easily. Love your content, you both take care.

Thanks to this channel I decided to research the Hisense tv’s back in 2022 and I decided to purchase the Hisense U7H 55 inch for my main bedroom and that TV is the best purchase I made last year, the brightness and the colors are amazing! I love technology and I also have a LG CX OLED in the living room but with Hisense and TCL out there offering these prices we don’t need to spend that much on a TV, Hisense and TCL are great tv’s and they are affordable compared to Samsung, LG and Sony. I highly recommend the Hisense U7K for a bedroom and the Hisense U8K for the living room.

My thoughts as long you watch high quality content you be fine with these tvs

I’m opting for the X90L solely for the upscaling capabilities with low res content as well as for the Nintendo switch. Preservation of shadow detail over black crushing is fine with me too. Overall solid choice which is worth waiting for a sale.

I bought a 65" TCL 6 series for $425 in early 2020. In hindsight, it's one the best purchases I've made because the prices went crazy afterwards. And because of covid, it's been on for a good 14 hours a day for the last 4 years with no issues. If/when it dies, I won't hesitate to buy another.

I bought a TCL last year after being strictly LG for 15+ years and I wasn’t impressed with the brightness so I returned it. I may give Hisense a try though.

I own the LG C1 77”has been great but honestly the price doesn’t warrant the premium compared to a larger cheaper TCL QM8 85”, that’s why I went with the TCL for bigger and brighter for way cheaper.
