Living on my own, I often have meals that can be eaten just using a fork. However sometimes a knife is needed not just for cutting the food but also manipulating it onto the fork.
I eat my peas with honey;
I've done it all my life.
It makes the peas taste funny,
But it keeps them on the knife.

Don't worry, friends. How you eat isn't as important as what you eat. That's where we feel so sorry for you as our foods are generally free of all the noxious(?)
chemicals etc that US foods contain. They don't keep as long so you have to shop more often but that's a small price to pay for healthier food. Anyway, I wish
