WHY PIPELINE WELDERS CAN’T AFFORD TO BE SHY
Ever wondered how to get a pipeline job with no experience? Or how to get a welding job with no experience? If you haven’t met me, I’m Austin Ross a pipeline welder and… YouTuber. For the last two years I’ve been sharing my tips and tricks here online and my followers have got their first pipeline welding jobs, get on as a pipeline welder helper and more. I’ve answered pipeline welding job questions, “how to get into pipeline welding,” “how to become a pipeline welder helper” and much more.
I racked my brains for a long time wondering how I can answer this network problem. Not only for people wanting to get in but for those of us that are already pipeliner or rig welders. A pipeline network –– that is what we need. Not something centered around the work but around everything else! So if you have ever searched for “group for pipeline welder helpers” or “group for pipeline welders” or “pipeline wife group” or “rigwelder instagram” or “the welders wife” or rig welders jobs” then you have found your place. My Inner Circle and other membership opportunity are bound to answer a few (or a lot) of your questions.

It’s not what you know, it’s who you know.

Hi Austin, I'm a retired welder now 68 yrs old in the U.K. and do not have the need to join the inner circle.. but I've got to say if I was still working I would definitely join, because as you say, it's not only what you know, it's mostly about the contacts within the pipeline industry who you know.✊️

I’ve been in the game for 1 1/2 years and I wish I would have been more social while at work. I always had the motto head down and working hard, but that got me into a situation because I have almost no contacts.

Hey Mr. Ross, I have currently takin a serious interest into the pipeline lifestyle and I've discovered your YouTube channel, I'm in 11th grade now and everytime I get the chance during or after school I watch your videos. I want to say thank you for giving us newcomers or just the people taking interest in the trade a chance to really understand the fundamentals of it, love the videos btw!

I'm a production welder that went to school where I dabbled in pipe welding just a little. I've been following you for about a year now and love your content and jealous of the opportunity you pipeliners have. Keep up the great work

I'm sure you get this question a lot, why not use a big MIG welder instead of stick? wouldn't it be way faster to run 1.1/16 flux core instead of stick? what are the advantages to stick?

Back in June I think it was I called someone who is a Pipeliner up in North Dakota, my dad is his mothers co-worker so thats how I was able to get his contact info. And I was scared shitless calling him but hell I did it. And it worked out well in my favor.

You've taught me a bit, and I thank ya. I'm from MI, and in school for another year yet to get my AAS in Welding Tech.

I ain't got the $ atm to spend on a foot in the door as I'm still a year off, but I don't think it'd hurt to throw my name out there now and say "howdy" to ya'll.

You may need a helper in a year or so. 😉 Safe travels, bro.

I’m a career firefighter embarking on my retirement. I’m 53 years old. I’m interested in joining the traveling lifestyle. I want to start out as a helper or labor hand. Can you help a brother out?

I'm interested in the inner circle, im hoping to break out in the next two years. With that said, do you ever hear about jobs that don't run weekends? I want to be able to be home on Saturday and Sundays with the family.
